A One-Day Retreat in Lake Wildwood

Before the holiday season begins, take a day to pause and nourish yourself in community. This retreat offers movement, sharing, ritual, visioning, and supportive space for rest and reflection. Together we’ll gather in a private home on the lake, with access to the sauna and nourishing meals, leaving with tools to move through daily life in a more harmonious way.

Rebecca Mayer
Rebecca’s 30-year path has been one of devotion to the Sacred. An experienced retreat leader, she guides yoga nidra, Qoya, and elemental connection to the land. She works with those grieving and the dying, centering participants in ritual, embodiment, and sacred community. Her work supports the alchemy of all emotions, creating pathways toward authenticity and joy.
Dr. Michelle Spoelstra
A licensed clinical psychologist with over twenty years of experience, Michelle has worked in community mental health, university counseling, and with professionals in high-pressure environments. Her approach blends psychological insight with yoga and meditation, offering steady, compassionate guidance through challenge and change. She also teaches about healing design and how to create a sanctuary within your home.

Day One — Ash: Alchemy of Grief
“What we don’t ritualize, we repeat.” We approach grief as a vital energy of the psyche, attending to losses of loved ones, life periods, places, and connections.

Joy moves through the body like the hummingbird — vibrant, insistent, alive. Wings churn the air, the beak seeks sweetness, and movement itself pulses with energy.
